Get the GuideAbout
A curator, not a calendar.
HTX Plans is a Houston weekend guide with one job: help you decide what to do with your weekend. Every Thursday we publish a small set of verified picks across music, sports, food, family, free, and under $30.
The accuracy rule
We never invent events, prices, dates, times, addresses, or ticket information. Every listing is verified against an official event, venue, or organizer page before it ships. If we cannot verify it, it does not ship. An empty category beats a weak listing, every time.
How the week works
- Monday and Tuesday: we research and expand the candidate list.
- Wednesday: we verify every detail against official sources.
- Thursday: the new guide publishes here and in HTX Plans Weekly.
- Friday and Saturday: we re-check for cancellations, sellouts, and time changes.
How we make money
HTX Plans is set up to earn a commission if you buy tickets or book experiences through affiliate links, at no extra cost to you. That support keeps the guide free. No affiliate links are active yet. Our editors choose every listing; listings are never bought and are never included because of an affiliate link. Paid placements are always labeled Sponsored.

Partnerships
Partner With HTX Plans
HTX Plans is a new Houston weekend guide helping people decide what to do with their weekend. We are building partnerships with local venues, event organizers, and experience providers who want to reach people planning their time in Houston.
Starting honest
We are early. HTX Plans publishes a curated weekend guide every Thursday, a weekly newsletter, and weekend picks on Instagram and TikTok. We do not publish audience numbers until we have real ones, and we would rather start a partnership with honest expectations than inflated ones. What we offer now: careful curation, a local audience that plans around our picks, and transparent reporting on every placement.
Sponsored placements on the site
Paid event placements appear in the weekend guide with a clear "Sponsored" label. Sponsored listings go through the same verification as editorial listings: real event, real date, real venue, real price. We do not accept sponsored listings for events we cannot verify, and sponsorship never guarantees a positive editorial mention. Paid placement and editorial picks are separate; a sponsored listing is never presented as an editor's pick.
Newsletter sponsorship
HTX Plans Weekly sends every Thursday with the weekend's picks. One sponsor slot per issue, clearly labeled "Sponsored". Sponsor message is plain text or a provided image with our review; we do not send sponsor content we would not stand behind.
Instagram and TikTok sponsorship
Sponsored posts and stories are labeled as paid partnerships in-platform and in caption. Sponsored content follows the same verification standard as everything we publish.
Affiliate partnerships
If you run an affiliate program that fits Houston weekend content (ticketing, tours, attractions, food experiences), we are interested. We deep-link to specific events and experiences, disclose affiliate relationships plainly, and never disguise affiliate links as neutral recommendations.
Start the conversation
Contact: [email address, owner to provide]. Include in the inquiry: who you are, what you want to promote, and the dates. We reply within two business days. Nothing on this page is a purchase or a commitment; every partnership starts with a conversation and a written agreement.
Fine print
- Sponsored content is always labeled. No exceptions.
- We do not publish pricing for partnerships on this page. Rates are discussed after we understand the fit.
- We do not accept payment processing on this site. Agreements and invoicing are handled directly.
Tonight · Thursday
